Alexander Mindadze

Writer, director, producer

ALEXANDER MINDADZE was born in Moscow and is considered as one of the most acclaimed scriptwriters and directors in Russia. More than 20 of his screenplays have been filmed since 1975.He is a winner of numerous awards such as golden medal of Venice Film Festival and the Silver Bear of the Berlin Film Festival. He is a laureate of the USSR State Prize
In 2007 his feature film debut as director, SOAR, was premiered at Venice IFF. This film received two awards, including the film critics award for best debut film in Russia. Second feature film written and directed by Alexander Mindadze INNOCENT SATURDAY was premiered at Berlin IFF in 2011. Mindadze is the unique Russian scriptwriter who was awarded with prestigious ENNIO FLAIANO PRIZE and the SILVER PEGASUS from the Italian Academy of Culture for "Literature's contribution to the cinema."

Alexander Robak

Alexander Robak is a Russian actor and producer. Born in December 28, 1973 in Zlatoust in the family of Rem Aleksandrovich Robak, a metallurgical engineer and his wife Raisa, a technical school teacher. Graduated from Yaroslavl Theater Institute, course of Vladimir Vorontsov. Started his acting career in 1998. His feature film debut was in “Day of the Full Moon” by Keren Shahknazarov. He has played more than 140 roles in such films as «Alive» and «Geographer drank his globe away» (dir. Aleksandr Veledinsky), «Kiss them all» (dir. Zhora Kryzhovnikov), Yolki (dir. Bekmambetov), «Monogamous» (dir. Aleko Tsabadze , «Children» (dir. Alyona Zvantsova), «Storm» (dir. Boris Khlebnikov) and others. He is also a producer of several television and film projects. He is one of the creators of the cinema company "Cinemafor." Winner of the People’s Prize "Bright Past" of the Oleg Mityaev Foundation.


Samarin Igor Anatolyevich

Sakhalin local historian, archaeologist, ethnographer, historian, traveler. He is a former head of the department of history of the Sakhalin Regional Local History Museum. Currently works as an Advisor to the Agency for Culture of the Sakhalin Region

Jialing Zhang

Jialing Zhang is an independent Chinese filmmaker based in Massachusetts. She directed and produced feature documentaries Complicit (Human Rights Watch Film Festival in London, 2017) and One Child Nation (Sundance 2019, Grand Jury Prize Winner). She has won numerous awards including Tim Hetherington Award from Sheffield International Documentary Film Festival and Grand Jury Prize from Full Frame Documentary Film Festival. She holds a master’s degree from New York University.
